Champion offspring have done well in the show ring.
Crinan is our beautiful boy who arrived from Beinnein Kennels in 2004 as a four month old pup. He has given us such pleasure, pride and joy with the wins he has aquired in the show ring. During his show career, he achieved many Best of Breed wins and group placements in Canada and the United States.
He went to Great Western as a young open dog with only six points and one major. He came from the classes to win Best of Breed in the Scottish Terrier specialty where 57 Scotties were entered. In three days of showing he finished with twenty points and four majors!
Later that same year, he followed this win by winning Best of Breed in the Scottish Terrier Canadian National Specialty.
Today, Crinan is retired, enjoying a leisurely life after fathering many pups for us and other breeders.
Our magnificent boy, loyal and faithful friend succumbed quickly to an illness his stoic nature never showed us he had until it was too late. Beautiful Crinan crossed the Rainbow Bridge at 12.5 years of age. Like his family of Scottie friends before him, Crinan was a gentle, faithful companion, kind and happy, always with his Scottie tail straight up behind him. Now he is with his best friends Kerri, Skye and Taryn.
Crinan made us very proud with wonderful wins in the show ring. His many rosettes and pictures proudly grace our home.
He will never be forgotten and will always hold a special place in our hearts. Crinan left his footprints on our souls for the rest of our mortal days.
Rest well our beloved and incredible Crinan, and by the mercy of Jesus, we will meet again in Heaven.
